What are the best out of waste ideas for a school competition?
Judges reward three things: the waste material is still recognisable, the finished piece is either useful or explains something, and the child can describe how it was made. Bottle planters, cardboard city models, ice-cream-stick bridges and CD mosaics score consistently well across Classes 6 to 10.
How much does an arts and crafts project cost?
Cost depends on size, materials and how much detailing the piece needs. A simple craft model costs far less than a 30-page themed scrapbook or a competition entry with lighting. Send your class, theme and deadline on WhatsApp and we will quote a fixed price the same day.
How quickly can you make a craft project?
Most craft models, charts and scrapbooks are finished within 24 to 48 hours when materials are in stock. Larger competition pieces, stage props and multi-part displays need three to five days. Tell us your submission date first and we will confirm honestly before you pay anything.
Will it look like a child made it, or too professional?
We deliberately match the finish to the class level. A Class 3 project is made with the neatness a Class 3 student can plausibly achieve, because a piece that looks factory-made loses marks and credibility. If you want it more polished for a competition, say so and we will raise the finish.
Do you make scrapbooks for school projects?
Yes. We make theme-based scrapbooks with hand-lettered title pages, an index, printed photographs, hand-drawn illustrations, pockets and pull-out flaps. Common themes are freedom fighters, states of India, the solar system, environment and festivals. Tell us your page count and theme.
Can you make eco-friendly Ganesh idols and festival crafts?
Yes. We make eco-friendly clay idols, decorated mandap models, diya and rangoli boards, lanterns, torans, Christmas wreaths and tricolour displays. Festival craft demand spikes sharply, so order two to three weeks ahead if you want a choice of designs.
Do you supply just the materials instead?
We are a making service rather than a craft shop, so we do not sell raw materials on their own. What we can do is tell you exactly what to buy and where, if you have decided to make the project yourself using one of the ideas listed on this page.
My child wants to make it themselves. Can you help?
Yes, and we think that is the better outcome where there is time. Message us with the class and theme and we will send a workable design, a materials list and the order of steps at no cost. Come back to us only if the deadline gets tight.
Which classes do you make craft projects for?
Classes 1 to 12, plus intermediate and degree students who need portfolio files or art-integrated project albums. We also make classroom display boards and bulletin boards for teachers, and stall decoration for school exhibitions.
Can you follow the size limit in our school circular?
Yes, and please send us the circular. Craft competitions almost always specify a maximum base size or display area, and entries get disqualified at the table for exceeding it. We build to the stated limit and leave a small margin.
Will fragile craft work survive a courier?
We box fragile pieces with internal padding and mark them clearly, and tracking is shared when it ships. For very delicate work going a long distance we will say so upfront and suggest a sturdier design instead of risking it arriving broken.
How do I place an order?
